A true specialty. Only when the vintage truly produces an exceptional base wine, it is allowed to mature into our Große Reserve. The Chardonnay grapes come from a steep vineyard near Leibnitz, characterized by shell limestone. With 62 months of yeast aging, this sparkling wine is given ample time to unfold. The result is a Blanc de Blancs with an extremely fine mousse, an intense aroma of yellow-fleshed fruits, and brioche. On the palate, it is salty, taut, and delicately structured, with intense minerality in the finish. Austere and incredibly multi-layered at the same time.
